The Canary Islands Tourism Board have launched a new campaign called “Shine Again” or “Vuelve a brillar” in Spanish to promote the seven islands.
Focussed on Social Media, the campaign encourages people to sign up and promote the Canary Islands to their friends and followers to win holidays. The marketing material highlights our wonderful all year round climate to Europeans trapped in a world of routine, stress and everyday life, encouraging them to come to the Canary Islands to enjoy the sun and the stars to enjoy our ideal temperature throughout the year.
The strap line is that the Canary Islands are a Latitude of Life, the place with the best climate in the world, to make your life shine again.
Each of the individual islands are represented, the head of Lanzarote Tourism Hector Fernández believes that the campaign represents a quantum leap in the promotion of the Canaries. It’s a strategy to reposition our innovative destination based on the virility of social networks by using the best images from the archipelago to significantly improve our tourism markets. Luis Arráez from tourism at the Cabildo of Lanzarote rated the promotion very positively commenting that the content of the campaign is personalised, direct and simple.
