Superior Court Overturns Rental Law Decree
The Superior Court has overturned key clauses in the proposed new rental laws. The main points of interest are that they have declared that the section of the law refusing permission for owners of properties in tourist areas is unfair from a competition perspective, and that renting of rooms in private houses for bed and breakfast, for example, should be allowed. The Canarian government has also been told to pay the costs of the court case.
