The Ministerio del Interior published the crime rates in Spain for the first nine months of this year recently.

The Canary Islands as a whole show an overall decrease of 0.3% with fewer crimes reported in the majority of islands, apart from Tenerife and Fuerteventura where an increase of 4.4% and 4.9% respectively was recorded.
